The EX Encoder Series IX700 and the AX700 are certified to EEx d IIC T6 (Tamb +60°C) and EEx d IIC T4 (Tamb +100°). The certification permits use in Zone 1 (Division 2) applications and does not require an Intrinsic Safe Barrier for safe operation.
