 Washdown Encoder StainlessExtreme Duty Wash Down EncoderIndustrial Encoder Corporation (IEC) announces that in response to increasing demand, they have expanded the selection of Optical Encoder products that are widely used in Washdown applications, requiring regular cleaning with high pressure liquids and caustic chemicals.
Typical applications of IEC's Washdown and Stainless Steel encoders are:
- Food Processing (meat, poultry, and dairy products, slicing and filling)
- Packaging, Filling, and Inspection (including soft drinks and beer)
- Material Handling and Conveyor Equipment, and
- Pharmaceutical, Health and Beauty Products Manufacturing.
The Washdown encoders are designed with a Stainless Steel cover and housing and can be obtained with an IP67 sealing option.
